I was inspired by J is for Jord's summer reading list and thought I'd share my own since I always, and I mean always, have a stack of books that is in my "to be read" pile, or shall I say, my "to be read" bookcase.

I guess I pretty much fit the bill of being a book junkie, since I absolutely love buying books (and reading them, of course) and I will never buy an e-reader. I will forever have a bookcase and re-read my favorite books. Yes, I'm an 80 year old woman and I'm proud of it.

So, these are my top picks for my "to be read" pile for this summer (or just the upcoming months).

1984 - George Orwell
Allegiant - Veronica Roth (third of the Divergent series)
Flowers in the Attic - V.C. Andrews (first of the 5-book Dollanganger Series)
Feedback - Robison Wells (Sequel to Variant)
Mein Zweites Leben - Christiane F. (in German) (sequel to Wir Kinder am Bahnhof Zoo)
Orange is the New Black - Piper Kerman (love this show)

What books are on your reading list? Have you read any of these?

  2. in this case i am an old lady too.
i love the smell and feel of a real book. i love just flipping through the pages.
and i dont start books with less than 500 pages bc it just not worth it. i would be done with the book within 2 days and i hate finishing a book, especially when i fall in love with the characters.
