So, I recently stepped into Manor (a department store in Switzerland) with the sole plan of picking up the Chanel bronzer. Well, as fate would have it, the MAC counter is right behind the Chanel counter and I naturally gravitated over to check out some products. And the rest is history, obviously....
In April 2014 YSL released this line of Babydoll Kiss & Blush products which are meant for your lips as well as your cheeks. What definitely intrigued me was the consistency of this product, so I decided on purchasing two shades.
Good morning! I'm at work for a few hours this grey and rainy Saturday morning and I thought I'd share my neutral makeup. This look is perfect for every day, for work, etc.
This combination of products has been my trusty go-to base for this season. Even after a few weeks, it's still working and I still love it.
As you can tell from how quiet it has been on this blog, a lot has been happening lately. My life situation and plans have changed a lot in the past two months. Soon I'll be moving away from the beautiful mountain town of Engelberg and becoming a citizen of the equally beautiful city of Lucerne. I work and I will soon go to school in this city so it only makes sense to find a 1-room apartment here.
I've been in a pretty big slump lately but since the sun has been shining I've been feeling a teensy bit better. And now that I'm actively looking at rentals, I'm already dreaming about how I'll decorate and what I'd like to buy (mostly from IKEA, of course...).
From May 3 - 10 I took a trip to Warsaw, Poland with my parents. They both come from here and I've come here multiple times to visit family and friends. This place always feels very familiar to me: the delicious food, the language and the few family members and childhood friends of my parents' who we still see every time we visit.
I was inspired by J is for Jord's summer reading list and thought I'd share my own since I always, and I mean always, have a stack of books that is in my "to be read" pile, or shall I say, my "to be read" bookcase.
(This cocktail contains Cream of Coconut, Amaretto, Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka and Godiva white chocolate liquor - sounds absolutely amazing!)
One of my favorites! This is Lapiz of Luxury by Essie, a gorgeous "ocean blue" or "opulent azure" (what?).
Hi guys. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a little while. I've been going through some personal shit stuff lately so my mind hasn't really been on my blog in the past week.
And, the only posts which I've pre-photographed are "Lacquer Love" posts so I'm coming at you with another nail polish post. Hope you don't mind :)
I love using simple scotch tape to create very easy and subtle nail art. Check out this nail look I did last June using scotch tape and some fun, bring pink polish.
