I've got another book recommendation for you today! And let me tell you, this one sucks you in big-time.
I discovered the Jo Totes website randomly while reading through blogs a while ago. I was in the market for a laptop bag so I checked out the website and since then I've acquired not one, but two of their lovely bags!
If you missed out on Part 1, check it out HERE.
This post will be a compilation of photos I shot from 2 separate days in Bosnia (we spent 3 days in Bosnia, then 4 days in Belgrade, Serbia and then back to Bosnia for 1 day before leaving to get back to Switzerland). So these photos are from one day before our Belgrade trip and from one day after that trip.
I have been using quite a few products religiously lately. I thought I'd share a few of them today :)
And funny thing is, two of the products above are old rekindled love affairs - haha! Can you guess which ones?

If you're not sure what The Creative Collective is, check out my post here.
Melyssa's second prompt is to create a playlist of new music and to link it up to her post here (where you can also find her playlist).
Since I love reading and I really enjoy reading book reviews on blogs, I thought I'd start my own little series called the "Lipsticks & Chocolates Book Club" (L&C for short). I don't know how regularly I'll post about books, but I think I'll just post whenever I finish a good book and feel like sharing it.
Since I've been having some annoyingly bad skin lately (hello, am I 15 or 25 years old?!) and I'm running out of my current Michael Todd True Organics skincare rotation, I thought I'd finally go for it and buy my whole regime from Lush Cosmetics.
Exactly one week ago, last Sunday, my boyfriend and I went on a walk with our pup (and our neighbour's pup) and I took my camera along since the weather was so gorgeous.
"Angel Mountain" is the name of our town translated into English. The German name for it is Engelberg.
Enjoy the ultra-Swiss photos!
Happy Saturday everyone :) Isn't this just the best day of the week? I just love knowing that I have the day off and that the next day is a day off as well!
Anyways, I just spent a while adding photo's to my past posts where photo's were missing. You see, my blog used to be on Wordpress under the name "Michelle in a Nutshell" and at some point I decided I wanted to move my blog to Blogger and change the name. I imported all the existing posts and that worked perfectly except that the photo's didn't transfer over! (I'm sure there's a very logical and obvious technological reason for this, but I'm not tech-savvy enough to know that.)
So, after going through the posts I've posted since the beginning of 2013, I touched on a few that I think are still very interesting. So, if you're new to this blog, here a few links you might like to check out :)

Thanks to the lovely Jess from JessClassy I discovered a new blog, The Nectar Collective. What a fun find!
And it just so happens that Melyssa from The Nectar Collective is starting a fun, creative initiative "designed to help the both of us learn, grow, and have a freakin’ blast doing it". Sounds pretty good to me!
First things first, sorry for my short hiatus this past week. I hate it when that happens. But somehow my first week back at work mixed in with some Christmas festivities (the 7th of January Orthodox type) just got in the way of blogging.
Hi everyone, I'm back!
I've missed this little blog of mine :)
My 10 day vacation was absolutely wonderful and I really enjoyed the time away from the computer and internet. But obviously, I'm glad I'm back to wi-fi and my laptop ;)
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!
I just had a wonderful day and evening spent with loved ones, lots of laughs and delicious food. Oh, and some awesome gift-giving went down as well...score!
Seeing as I'm headed out of the country tomorrow for 10 days and won't be able to post on here since I won't even have an internet connection most of the time, I thought I'd make one last mini post about today's nails and makeup :)
(photos taken with my iPhone)
I know, I know, this post (as well as the gift ideas) is pretty last minute, but I still wanted to share a few of my gift ideas which are mostly DIY (do it yourself).
I think DIY gifts are always thoughtful and interesting - and I love gifting them as well as receiving them. So here's what I chose to gift a few of my best girlfriends.
Today I finished decorating our apartment for Christmas and thought I'd snap some photos.
I really love decorating for the holidays and I sometimes peruse the pages of blogs and Pinterest looking for decorating inspiration.
So I thought I'd share my decorations if any of you are looking for some last minute ideas :)
Get ready for photo overload...
I'm back with another holiday nail tutorial! Woo woo!
Alright, I'll stop tooting my own horn. But hey, don't we all love nail polish and nail art?
Ya...I thought so :)
So, here's something I came up with last Sunday whilst hanging out at home on a cold wintery day. I was of course inspired by Christmas but I didn't want to use the traditional red and green colors. So I went for a simple "wintery" shade with this light blue.
Hope you like it!
